Memorial Day: Love and Faith Through Loss on the Battlefield
The Reverend Connor Gwin and Colonel Tom Montgomery, U.S. Marine Corps Reserve (Ret.), host a thoughtful conversation on service, camaraderie, and loss, and the ways love and faith endure. A Christ Church member, Colonel Montgomery is a retired armor officer who served 30 years in uniform, including multiple combat deployments to the Middle East. He will share reflections from his experience, offering a window into the cost and meaning of service. In honor and gratitude for those who gave their lives for our country—and for the families who carry their memory—this gathering will also create space to remember and share together. All are welcome.
