MVP: Habitat ReStore

Our next MVP (Moveable Volunteer Possibility) is at the Wendover Habitat ReStore! Habitat ReStores are more than a place to find amazing deals on new and gently-used furniture, appliances, home décor and building materials; they help local families build strength and stability through affordable homeownership. Bring a friend and come help with unloading, cleaning, sorting and shifting items from all of the donations that come in. Speaking of which, why not have a bit of a New Year’s purge and bring some of the items you’ve been meaning to donate?

WHAT TO WEAR: Habitat does require that all volunteers wear closed-toed shoes and shirts that have some type of sleeves (short sleeves are fine). They recommend wearing clothes you do not mind getting dirty or dusty.

PARKING: You are welcome to park in the parking lot located on N. Wendover Rd directly in front of the ReStore. If possible, please leave the spaces up front open for customers. If there are no spaces available, you can also go around the corner and park in the parking lot on Latrobe Dr. in front of the administrative offices.
