ECW Christmas Pop-Up

The Episcopal Church Women (ECW) are busy planning for the annual Christmas Pop-Up (formerly our “Bazaar”) on Saturday, December 7, 9 am – 1 pm, in All Saint’s Hall and the GoodNews Shop.

We are excited to welcome back some of our favorite vendors as well as new local artisans. More than 20 local vendors will fill All Saints’ Hall with handmade gifts and treats such as jewelry, art, candles, toys, pottery, coffee, and delicious foods. Additionally, the GoodNews Shop will offer festive holiday gifts and feature their favorite local vendors for a special holiday shopping event. Author Kathy Izard will sign copies of her book, Trust the Whisper in the Green Room, and will be sharing space with Becca Wright, founder of Piedmont Pennies and Trish Neman from Tagum’s personalized and seasonal stationery items.

Shopping at the Christmas Pop-Up is the perfect way to cross off items from your holiday shopping list, deck your halls, and stock your freezer, all while shopping locally and supporting our mission. All purchases in All Saints’ Hall and the GoodNews Shop help fund programs that support women and children in our community and globally.

CALLING ALL COOKS
Help us prepare delicious homemade food to sell at the Christmas Pop-Up. Recipes are easy to follow, come with step-by-step instructions on how to prepare/freeze/package, and are a wonderful way to contribute without leaving your kitchen. The recipes are long-time favorites: Christmas Morning Casserole, Sinful Cinnamon Coffee Cake, and Chicken Wild Rice Casserole. Recipes and food containers will be available for pick up in the Welcome Center November 10 through November 24. Frozen casseroles can be dropped off at the church on December 5 and 6. There is also an opportunity for two volunteers on November 8 and two volunteers on November 15 to help Maggie make her famous Brunswick Stew in the church kitchen. Questions? Contact Holly Hobson or Vickie Cockrum.

WANT TO BE INVOLVED WITH THE POP-UP?
In addition to offering products to purchase from our local vendors, we also offer volunteer-made soups and casseroles and holiday greenery for pickup/purchase during the event. We need many volunteers to make this amazing day come to life. If you would like to be involved, or are interested in learning more about how you could help, please contact Laura Copps.
