Hurricane Helene Relief

Our hearts are filled with concern for the wellbeing of our siblings in Western North Carolina, and our first question naturally is, “How can we help?”

We are actively working with the NC Diocese, Episcopal Relief & Development, food banks, and faith partners to determine the areas of greatest need and the best ways to respond. This will be an ongoing effort for many months to come.

At this time, we encourage your immediate response in these ways:

Pray

Please pray for those who have lost everything, and those who have been displaced from their homes. We pray for all who are participating in rescuing people, delivering supplies, and restoring the infrastructure.

THE WELL

Wednesdays at 6 pm, join us in the Church at The Well for a time of prayer, contemplation, and reflection.

MONETARY DONATIONS

All funds will go to organizations directly serving those in need. You can contribute financially here.

DIGNITY DRIVE

Sunday, November 3, contribute to our monthly collection of diapers, period products, and incontinence supplies for the Diaper Bank of North Carolina

OTHER GOODS

At this time we are NOT collecting food or other goods, as our partners in Western NC need time to store and distribute the outpouring of supplies they have already received. As new needs arise, we will post them here.

MEALS OF HOPE

Saturday, October 12, we will host a massive meal-packing effort in All Saints’ Hall through Meals of Hope. Volunteers will pack 60,000 emergency meals and deliver them to the hardest hit areas.

All volunteer slots are filled for this event, but the packed pallets will remain in All Saints’ Hall on Sunday morning to be blessed during our worship services.
