ECW Christmas Greenery Orders

ORDERS ACCEPTED THROUGH WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 5
Deck your halls this holiday season with gorgeous wreaths and fresh garland! Order your greenery and get quality western North Carolina products while supporting the mission and work of ECW.
For over 20 years, Christ Church has sourced its holiday greenery from Laurel Springs Nursery in Laurel Springs, North Carolina. The verdant wreaths and garland are hand crafted from boxwood, Fraser Fir, and white pine, all grown in western North Carolina. This fresh holiday greenery hails from a family-owned farm that was affected by Hurricane Helene, so your purchase not only adds Christmas cheer to your home but also supports this small business in our beloved North Carolina mountains.
Pick up your orders in All Saints’ Hall on Saturday, December 6, from 9:30 am to 1 pm during the ECW Feast & Flora. While you’re there, enjoy browsing a variety of local vendors and, new this year, join in on some Mahjong Merriment! Gather a friend (or three) and sign up to play after picking up your greenery and shopping the casserole sale.
Proceeds benefit the Episcopal Church Women’s (ECW) fundraising efforts which support organizations serving women and children.

During the 2025/26 season, Christ Church Men’s Ministry invites you to hit the field with Coach Jesus: learning, growing, and showing up for one another. Through small group conversations and real-life application, we’ll explore what it means to live with faith, courage, and integrity. Come join a group or just take your playbook home and learn on your own. However, you show up, remember: we’re Stronger Together.

This weekly men’s Bible study, led by Hayward Morgan and Butch Robertson, meets at Panera Bread at Cotswold Village on Tuesday mornings throughout the year. The group alternates between studying a book of the Bible and other chosen books and is currently reading The Man In The Mirror: Solving the 24 Problems Men Face by Patrick M. Morley. Newcomers are welcome and encouraged to drop in at any time during the year. Come as you are.
Please email Butch Robertson with any questions.
The Good Book Beginning to End (Tuesdays)

Have you ever wanted to read the whole Bible? Not sure where to start? This year we will explore the story of God’s love from “In the beginning” to “a new heaven and a new earth.” Participants will receive a written guide with a daily reading plan and questions for reflection. In addition, there will be a weekly opportunity for fellowship and facilitated discussion in the Green Room or online. Register (no cost) using the link on this page, or contact Scottie Stamper for more information. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with God and with each other!
With the exception of several days around holidays, we will meet on Tuesday mornings (7:30 – 8:30 am), January 14 – June 10. After a summer break, we will resume on August 12 and meet through November 18. Please check the calendar for specific meeting dates.
This class is also offered on Mondays at 1 pm. See details and register for the Monday class.

Books will be ordered for participants at a cost of $10. A study guide will also be provided.
Lifeline is an intergenerational group of Christ Church women who gather together to share life, find a deeper dependence on God, and lean into the shared fellowship and community found in our spiritual home. Come as you are, all are welcome.
Sign up now ($10) and bring a friend. We hope to see you!

This time is designed for those who enjoy knitting and crocheting in fellowship and community. Together, we will create charitable items for those in need while connecting with one another in a warm, supportive environment.
These sessions are best suited for participants who already know how to knit or crochet. While there will be opportunities to ask technical questions about your projects, this will not be a beginner’s class.
We are deeply grateful to continue this ministry through Christ Church, as it weaves together fellowship, creativity, and service in ways that bless both our makers and our community.
We look forward to another season of knitting, crocheting, and serving together in Christ’s love.
Please contact Elizabeth Angerson with questions or to learn more about our Sacred Stitches charitable knitting/crochet ministry
Reading Between the Lines (Wednesdays)

This Bible study group uses the Reading Between the Lines curriculum to add to our understanding of scripture and to practice reflecting theologically on topics that arise from cultural and literary inspirations. Reading Between the Lines is open to all adults and is a deep dive into the place where the Bible’s story and our stories intersect. Please contact Scottie Stamper with questions.

Every baptized person is called to ministry, but often we face the difficult and subtle task of interpreting the richness of the church’s faith in a complex and confusing world. Education for Ministry (EfM) is Bible study and theological reflection group designed to help participants deepen their faith and connect the study of scripture with their real lives.
This group, led by Virginia Anderson and Tere Ey, will meet Wednesday mornings from 9:30 – 11:30 am in M206.
If you are interested, please fill out the EfM interest form and an instructor will contact you soon.
