The Power of Love, the Call to Persevere: An Evening with Bishop Michael Curry

Join us for a special evening as we welcome The Right Reverend Michael B. Curry, former Presiding Bishop of the Episcopal Church and former Bishop of North Carolina. Known around the world for his sermon at the royal wedding and even more deeply for his joyful proclamation of the Way of Love, Bishop Curry returns to Christ Church to reflect on what it means to persevere in faith, hope, and love, even in a world that feels weary and divided.

We’ll gather for a seated dinner where Bishop Curry will offer a brief address, followed by a conversation with The Reverend Chip Edens exploring how God’s never-failing love sustains us and empowers us to live generously. Whether through service, creativity, time, or resources, generosity becomes a spiritual practice — a way of saying thank you to God and showing up for others with open hands and hopeful hearts.
