Adult Advent Classes

All adults (men and women) are invited to attend two special clergy-led classes on Thursdays, December 5 & 12 from 10 – 11:30 am in M207. No registration needed.

December 5: Exploring the Lectionary, The Reverend Allen Pruitt
We’ll uncover the lectionary, a time-honored guide that organizes Scripture readings throughout the church year. We’ll explore its role in shaping worship and reflection, as well as how it enriches our understanding of Scripture’s themes and narratives.

December 12: Diverse Theological Perspectives, The Reverend Joshua Case
This lesson introduces key theological perspectives across Christianity, exploring how different traditions and approaches interpret and apply Scripture. We’ll discuss how these viewpoints contribute to a richer understanding of faith and broaden our own approaches to reading the Bible.
