Movie Discussion Group
Adults of all ages are invited to a Movie Discussion Group on Wednesday evening, April 30.
The start of baseball season can bring reminders of the hope of spring, and the classic film, Field of Dreams, explores the themes of renewal and redemption, whether we are a sports fan or not. The film, starring Kevin Costner, was released in May 1989, and was nominated for three Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Original Score, and Best Adapted Screenplay. In 2017, it was selected for preservation in the United States National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.
