Sages Conversation and Lunch: Your Kidneys and You

This month, we welcome Melissa Rubio, program manager for the National Kidney Foundation Serving the Carolinas. Melissa’s presentation, Your Kidneys and You, will explain the basics of kidney health and kidney disease. Kidney disease, also known as “chronic kidney disease (CKD),” causes more deaths each year than breast cancer or prostate cancer. It is the under-recognized public health crisis. Plan to join us for this informative discussion and stay for lunch. Bring a friend.

Sages (men & women, ages 65+) and all interested parishioners are invited to gather in the Blue Room for conversation and lunch (usually) on the fourth Wednesday of each month from 10:30 to 11:45 am. Registration for lunch ($10) is required.
