I’m New
We’re glad you’re here.
We delight in having visitors for worship, education, and fellowship.
Join Us
Join us any time at one of our regular Sunday services or many other events during the week. On Sundays, look for a friendly “greeter” to answer any questions or point you in the right direction.
Perhaps you are visiting us for the first time online. We understand that people often seek a church during a transition in their lives, such as a move, graduation from college, marriage, birth of a child, illness, or death in the family. Christ Church is here to support and guide you through these life changes. We seek to be your spiritual home.
Help Us Get To Know You
We would love to get to know you. Please help us by completing the Newcomer Interest Form so that we can be in touch.
Tours
If you are interested in a virtual or in-person tour during office hours, please contact Kathryn Saunders, Director of Newcomers and Parish Life. It’s a great way to get to know your way around and ask any questions you may have.

Vespers in the Garden
Vespers in the Garden is our annual spring tradition welcoming newcomers to Christ Church. The Hospitality Committee hosts this lovely outdoor event which includes dinner, followed by a candlelight Vespers service accompanied by the Christ Church Choir. We invite all newcomers to join committee members, clergy, staff, and Vestry for this special occasion, which takes place in the beautiful backyard of a nearby parishioner’s home.

Frequently Asked Questions
What time do I arrive?
Typically, anytime before the service begins is fine. For holiday services like Easter and Christmas Eve, we recommend arriving 45 minutes prior to secure a seat in the Church.
Where should I park?
There is usually ample parking in our lots. On rare occasions when these are full, street parking is available, including on Providence Road on Sundays.
Where do I enter the building?
Enter the Church from the front steps; to access All Saints’ Hall for Contemporary or Discovery Services, or an adult Sunday School class, enter the Rotunda and proceed downstairs (steps or elevator) immediately to the left upon entering. The Nursery is located in the Rotunda behind All Saints’ Hall and may also be accessed via outside steps to the left of the Rotunda or from inside All Saints’ Hall.
Is the church campus handicap accessible?
Yes. All main entrances have ramps, and elevators are marked with an “E” on this map.
What should I wear when I visit?
What is the worship style at Christ Church?
We have services to appeal to a broad range of worship styles. From traditional to contemporary, Sunday to weekday, family-oriented to casual, our services are varied with something for everyone! Click here to learn more about the individual services and worship times.
May a visitor take communion?
Yes! All baptized Christians may receive communion. You may also opt out by remaining seated or crossing your arms over your chest when you come forward to receive a blessing from the priest.
Who can be baptized in your church?
Are small children welcome in worship?
Yes! Children are a blessing and their presence in all services is encouraged. The Discovery Eucharist is designed for families with young children, who are invited to participate in the service. We also offer Children’s Chapel during our 8:45 am services. Regardless of which service you attend, children of all ages are always welcomed.
Is childcare available?
Yes. We have childcare (birth to 4 years) available for morning services on Sundays and a variety of other times. The Nursery is located in the Rotunda behind All Saints’ Hall and may also be accessed via steps to the left of the Rotunda. View the campus map here.
May I get married at Christ Church?
Members and children of Christ Church members may marry here. Learn more.
