A native Charlottean, Joe joined Christ Church in 1994 when he moved back to Charlotte after completing graduate school in Philadelphia. Joe’s passions at Christ Church include teaching fifth grade Sunday school, serving as a Lector and Chalice Bearer and Usher, and enjoying the liturgy and especially the music at the Contemporary service; he is also an active member of the Men’s Group. Joe has served on the Stewardship Commission, served on and chaired the Outreach Commission, and currently serves on and in January will be chairing the Liturgical Commission. Joe also enjoys volunteering outside of Christ Church; he is a longtime adult leader in Scouts BSA, delivers groceries for Nourish Up, and has served on and chaired multiple non-profit boards in the local community. Joe had a 25+ year career in investment banking in New York and Charlotte. Joe has three adult children who were baptized at Christ Church: Frank, Mary Louise, and Boyd.
