John Wickham grew up at Christ Church and served as an often on-time acolyte for seven years. He and his wife Charlotte and four boys moved back to Charlotte 15 years ago and rejoined the Church then. In between, they lived overseas and in New York for over 25 years and attended St. James’ Church, New York, and St. Paul’s Knightsbridge in London. John is currently co-chair of the 2023 Annual Stewardship Campaign and serves on the Generosity Commission. He was also actively involved in the 2019 Annual Stewardship Campaign. John supported The Relatives as former chair of their board and a long-time board member. Recently, he co-chaired the capital campaign for The Relatives On Ramp program and their new space on Freedom Drive. John also is board chair of the Institute for the Arts and Humanities at UNC Chapel Hill and a trustee at Episcopal High School. He is the co-founder and partner of Collwick Capital. John and Charlotte’s children, John, Edward, Ashby, and Brunson, were all confirmed at Christ Church.
