A lifelong Episcopalian, Margaret has been a member at Christ Church for the past 26 years. She grew up in Georgia and previously attended Cathedral of St. Phillips in Atlanta, GA, where she married her husband, Carter. During her time at Christ Church, she has been a member of the Sunshine Flower Guild, the Congregational Care Commission, served as a Sunday school teacher, and is currently a member of the Youth Commission. She has recently enjoyed participating in the Sacred Ground and Space Between Us curriculums offered at church. She is a practicing pediatrician at Novant Health Dilworth Pediatrics. She completed a two-year fellowship with the Andrew Weil Center for Integrative Medicine in Tucson, AZ, in 2020. She has been married to Carter since 2003 and they have three sons: Carter (17), Penn (14), and Henry (12), who are all involved in the youth ministries at church.
